Please be aware that we will start handing out pamphlets with all the most recent Healthcare TA information along with the official district ballot that will be used to cast your vote.
We will official collect the ballots at the call center on Tuesday 8/22/16 and closing the polls at 7pm that same day.
There will be two union desk available for members to cast their votes. One will be outside for those that are on STD or other leaves that prevents them from entering the building and the other will be inside the cafeteria for those on their break and lunch periods during their shift hours.
We will have 2 Election committee members visit the retail stores. The Ocala store visit will be on Monday 8/22/16 and the Lady Lake Store visit will be on Wednesday 8/24/16. At those times, members will receive their pamphlets and cast their votes. Any store member that does not want to vote at that time may travel to the call center on 8/22/16 on their own time to cast their ballot.
Those that were unable to vote on Tuesday 8/22/16 will be able to contact Don Brinning and Samantha Crawford as they will be using this final day to collect any last minute votes at both the call centers and the retail stores.
The election committee will meet on Friday 8/26/16 at 6pm to tally the votes and publish the local results for everyone to see. These results will then be sent to District to be added to the final District results. As soon as the District provides notification of ratification / rejection, we will post that result on the web site for all to view. The time frame for this should be Aug 30th or Sept 1st.
