    Dear Brothers and Sisters:
For the second year in a row, CWA members of District 3 have been negatively impacted by the destructive effects of late season hurricanes.  In 2017, Hurricane Maria destroyed countless lives and properties in Puerto Rico.
On September 14, 2018, Hurricane Florence made landfall on the North Carolina coast and stalled causing severe freshwater flooding.  Then on October 10, 2018, Members of District 3 were hit with devastating winds and storm surges from Hurricane Michael impacting members in Florida and Southern Georgia.
Today, I am requesting that Locals across our District and Nationally consider providing assistance to our Brothers and Sisters that were affected by the recent hurricanes.
Monetary donations can be made by checks addressed to CWA District 3 Disaster Relief Fund "DRF" and marked as Hurricane Relief.  The included link offers a way that monetary donations can be received through a website that will be transferred into District 3 Disaster Relief Fund.

    Richard Honeycutt
    Vice President - District 3
